Tell me if this sounds familiar. You want to get more familiar with GenAI. You start to read an article or watch a video. But soon you start drowning in the quicksand of unnecessary theory, fragmented tutorials and multiple pathways. It’s not your fault. The waters of GenAI are muddled with too many confusing options. I’ve witnessed countless talented individuals get trapped in this maze, spending months consuming content fruitlessly. They end up building neither anything substantial to showcase nor their confidence. Valuable time and effort both wasted in the wrong pursuits. Ouch! Some learners get advised to fully comprehend the inner workings of transformers. Some are told to master Python completely before they step into the world of GenAI. Is that really necessary? Tell me, does one need to really know the intricacies of how an engine works in order to learn how to drive a car? But then what’s the solution?
5 months ago Nixon, Khushboo and I set out to solve this problem once and for all. We decided to create a book to make it simple for anyone to master Agentic AI. Our goal was to avoid all fluff and focus on the core essentials. We wanted to make it easy for anyone to traverse this complex landscape. We decided to use simple language, clear illustrations and real-life analogies to explain difficult concepts. We tested our content with individuals who didn’t have prior experience of GenAI and made changes based on their feedback. We spent a lot of time in limiting the selection of Agentic AI frameworks in our book to just 3 to make it easy for first time learners.
- We chose LangGraph for individuals who are already fluent with Python.
- We added Langflow so that even individuals who are NOT coders can build out Agentic AI workflows with ease.
- And we included Amazon Bedrock Agents for folks who are already cloud literate and then want to ramp up on Agentic AI skills.
With that say good-bye to the analysis-paralysis problem posed by the ever growing list of agentic frameworks. The other problem that individuals usually wrestle with is the whole complexity of dealing with all the features available in a framework. That’s why we added a simple iterative 5-Level hands-on exercise section for each of the 3 frameworks. That way, you are not trying to do a high-jump but taking the steps to the next level.

The curriculum of our book was birthed in the battlefield of real-life customer deployments. It has already been used to train individuals to make them ready to solve actual problems rather than just have head-knowledge. So when you go through it you end up saving hours of wasted effort and research. Because we have already done that for you and present the core essentials necessary for you to become a successful Agentic AI Engineer/Architect. It never ceases to amaze me how a book can help us download years of someone else’s experience in a matter of hours into our heads. That’s exactly what our book offers.
Worried about changes to the frameworks? We’ve got it handled via our Git repo. We’ll be keeping the code examples there up to date with important changes if any in the frameworks. We’ve created a companion page to accompany the book as well for any subject matter related changes.
Book & Course Launch
When we set off to author this book, we didn’t imagine that our book launch would happen in the way that it did and graced by various dignitaries. But I’m glad it happened this way! We didn’t just launch our book. We also launched an Agentic AI course at Don Bosco Technical Institute at Pune. Woohoo!

It is with great pleasure I announce that our book is available on Amazon in multiple countries in ebook, paperback and hardcover formats.
Alternatives
I’ve gone through a variety of books and courses on this subject. Most of them are not that great (in my biased opinion of course). BUT there are 2 notable alternatives that I’ve found:
First Alternative: If you are looking for a video course, go for this course from Ed Donner. Ed knows what he’s talking about. I like the way he’s curated essential topics and has enough hands-on exercises.
Second Alternative: If you are not interested in building out Agentic AI workflows but only want to understand how they work, then I recommend Pascal Bornet’s book. No hands-on as such BUT very good theory.
Final Pep Talk
If you have been sitting on the sidelines waiting to dive into the exciting world of Agentic AI, stop waiting. Buy a book. Buy a course. It doesn’t have to be mine. Just get started! A (medical) Dr called me up yesterday seeking advice on Agentic AI. He wanted to enrol in the Don Bosco course to learn to build agents to help himself with scheduling and managing his investment portfolio. Wow! If you are in software, don’t stay passive. Learn to make agents do your bidding!
Keep Learning! Keep Excelling!
